A weather warning for thunderstorms is in effect for four counties amidst horrendous conditions.
The warning, which covers counties Kerry, Clare, Galway, and Mayo, will remain in effect until 9pm this evening.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience heavy showers and thunderstorms, which may lead to localized flooding and potentially hazardous driving conditions.
