Weather warning in effect until noon, but much milder conditions forecast for next week




A weather warning remains in effect until noon today, but much milder conditions forecast for next week, according to Met Eireann.

Today, Friday, is expected to start off cold and wet around the west and southwest, with brighter weather elsewhere, and highest temperatures hovering at around 8C.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to bring changeable conditions, with frequent outbreaks of rain, and temperatures of around 10C.

According to the national forecaster, Monday will see an upswing in temperatures, with highs of 12-13C likely.
