Weather will remain unseasonably mild and sunny until Saturday, but more unsettled conditions expected to set in by Sunday as the tail end of Hurricane Humberto strikes Ireland

The weather is set to remain unseasonably mild and sunny until Saturday at least, but the tail end of Hurricane Humberto will bring heavy rain and strong winds by Monday of next week.

Warm temperatures of 22-23C are expected between now and Saturday, with long, sunny spells predominant.

Things will take a turn for the worse by Saturday evening though, with outbreaks of rain likely during the second half of the day.

Sunday will see heavier, longer spells of rain, giving way to a very unsettled week ahead.
