There’s been a very mixed reaction to the government signing off €5,000,000 for a campaign to highlight Ukrainians coming into Ireland.
The government has announced that they’re going throw €5 million of taxpayers’ money to an Ireland for Ukraine campaign.
The campaign will see media broadcasts on TV, radio and online in relation to the Ukrainian refugees, what they’re entitled to and updates on their arrivals.
However, many on social media believe that such money should be used to “look after our own” – those who are sleeping rough around the country.
