A Yellow wind warning will remain in effect until tomorrow morning for coastal counties and some areas inland, as strong winds are expected to batter the country again.

The counties worst affected will be Wexford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, and Waterford.

Also, heavy rain will become persistent throughout the night, which might create hazardous driving conditions for Wednesday’s rush hour.

The wind warning will expire at 8am tomorrow morning.
