On Friday, February 14th, a two-car crash in Ballinacarrow, County Sligo, claimed the life of a lady in her 50s, reports Breaking News.
The N17 crash happened just after 2:00 pm.
Two of the four people inside the affected cars suffered severe injuries and were sent to Sligo University Hospital for treatment, reports Breaking News.
One of these, a 50-year-old lady, has subsequently passed away from her wounds.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators performed a technical analysis of the scene, reports Breaking News.
Any witnesses to this collision are being urged to come forward by the investigating gardaí.
Road users who may have dash-cam or other video footage from Friday, February 14th, between 2:00 and 2:30 pm on the N17 at Ballinacarrow are requested to provide it to the gardaí.
