Gardaí in Waterford have confirmed that a woman arrested in connection with a shooting on the Carrickphierish Road, has been released without charge.
It is understood the 27-year-old woman was released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
It is understood two men aged in their 30s are currently being questioned over the incident which occurred on December 23rd.
Gardai say investigations are currently ongoing.
