Women and children are said to be fearing for their lived in Afghanistan tonight as prospects of the Taliban reverting to their evil past is now a real possibility.

The extremist group went on a charm offensive at a press conference today with many believing their diplomatic answers are bluster and lies.

Taliban spokesmen held a press conference and announced that they will allow women in Afghanistan to keep the rights that they currently have in relation to work and study – but warned that this would only be ‘within the limits of Islam’.

It comes after claims that the Taliban has gone door-to-door and paint the doors on the houses of female activists to mark their locations where they live.

Female Afghan journalists say that they’re fearing for their lives after being taken off air, including TV and radio, in the days after the country fell to the Taliban.

A Taliban spokesman said: ‘We are going to allow women to work and study, within frameworks of course.

‘Women are going to be very active in society but within the frameworks of Islam.’

Joe Biden is in the crosshairs of the world’s media being firmly blamed for the catastrophy that’s unfolding in Afghanistan.
