Already this morning there’s widespread talk that a super rematch fight could take place in Dublin’s Croke Park between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.
Speculation is rife that 80,000 Irish fans could jam pack the stadium to support Taylor in an anticipated rematch on Irish soil.
Katie managed to get across the line despite taking a bad beating in rounds 4 to 6.
From there, she got on get bike and started to box rather than engage in a street fight.
Katie Taylor made history during the night by beating Amanda Serrano in Madison Square Garden in New York.
The Bray woman had a tough task on her hands against the Porto Rican but she managed to take Serrano’s best shots and still get across the line.
A tough round 5 and 6 nearly saw Taylor knocked out but she came box to win on points.
A packed out arena saw 18,000 people screaming the house down as Taylor’s arms were raised for the victory.
