One of Ireland’s biggest towns, Drogheda in County Louth is having serious electricity problems tonight.
Many areas across the north east town are in complete darkness as a blackout has occurred.
The Liberal understands that the problem originated in The Twenties area of the town with thousands now left without power. ESB service workers are aware of the problem are and working on fixing it.
