Three sisters have been killed after a violent incident in a house in Tallaght, Dublin overnight.
It’s understood that a teenage girl and two young girls were killed during the incident.
Gardai arrived to a house in Rossfield Estate around 12:30am. A teenage male was rushed to hospital with severe but non life threatening injuries.
The mother of the children was taken to hospital for treatment. It’s understood she has no physical injuries.
Gardai arrested a man in his 20s at the house in relation to the incident. He’s currently being detained at Tallaght Garda station where he’s being questioned in an incident room.
Gardai say that they’re not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident.
It’s understood all the people involved knew each other very well.
