A major investigation is underway after 14 people have been found hiding in a refrigerated trailer at Rosslare Europort, Co Wexford.
The unbelievable discovery took place around 3am yesterday, when the vehicle was stopped and searched after arriving on a ferry from France.
Among the 14 immigrants were nine men, three women and two young girls.
It appears that authorities were alerted after one of the passengers in the refrigerated trailer made an emergency call from inside the container.
Gardaí and several ambulances were at Rosslare Europort when the ferry docked in Wexford.
The migrants was examined by medical personnel on site and all are said to be in good health.
The migrants are believed to be Kurds and Vietnamese, were taken to a processing center.
Gardaí say that a major investigations into the incident are ongoing and no arrests have been made in connection with the investigation.
