A 4-yr-old boy has died in an incident at a Center Parcs resort in the UK.
Emergency services were called to Longleat Resort in Wiltshire just after 11am following a “serious medical incident” at a swimming pool shortly after 11am this morning.
Wiltshire Police said: “Our thoughts are with the boy’s family at this difficult time.”
They added that it was not considered suspicious.
Earlier, Center Parcs UK confirmed the “serious incident” at Subtropical Swimming Paradise, a water park with a wave pool and slides.
In a statement, they said: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic news that a young guest has passed away at Longleat Forest today (24th December). We are offering our support to the family and to our employees who provided immediate assistance.
“Our thoughts remain with the family at this very difficult time”, reports Sky News.
Wiltshire Police said officers visited the leisure complex with ambulance staff this morning.
