🔴BREAKING: 45-yr-old Irish man dies after trying to rescue his 11-yr-old daughter swimming in Australia




An Irish man drowned trying to save his daughter who got into trouble in the water in New South Wales, Australia, it’s emerged this evening.

Police learned that a couple and their three children were in the shallows of Seven Mile Beach in Lennox Head around 6:30pm on Wednesday night when his 11-yr-old daughter was carried into the sea on a bodyboard.

The beach was not patrolled by lifeguards at the time.

The 45-yr-old man swam towards her but was unable to return to shore. His wife also swam and she and the girl were able to reach the beach and alert the authorities.

When they arrived at the scene, two police officers went into the water to try to find the man, but to no avail. The man was brought ashore by lifeguards around 7pm.

NSW paramedics began CPR but were unable to revive the man, who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman and her daughter were treated by paramedics and allowed to go home. No details have been released as to where the man was origianlly from in Ireland.
