🔴BREAKING: A number of schools on “snow standby” and possibly will be closed tomorrow

A number of schools may be forced to close their doors tomorrow morning following expected snowfall overnight.

A number of areas of Donegal, Louth, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo are expected to brunt the worst of the freezing cold conditions with snowfall now likely in high up areas.

It’s understood that school principals and Vice Principals are told to be on standby in those counties and possibly may be forced to close their doors tomorrow for safety reasons.

People are advised to check with their local principal and Vice Principal for closures, along with text messages, other parents and Facebook pages for updates in their area and for their school.

People are advised to share this information with their friends, particularly those who will be driving in high up areas tomorrow morning.
