Gardai have launched an investigation after the death of a woman on a boat in Co. Leitrim.
The incident happened after a fire broke out at a craft in Carrick-On-Shannon.
Emergency personnel raced to the scene but sadly the woman was pronounced dead.
No further details have been released at this time, Gardai and rescue workers remain at the scene.
