Aaron Carter, singer and brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, has died at the age of 34, his representative has confirmed this evening.
The American musician opened had a succesful career in his own right but sadly ran into tough times over the last number of years.
A representative from Carter’s team confirmed the news to the PA news agency and said they were still investigating the cause of death.
They said they were just as overwhelmed as everyone and hope fans can express their thoughts and prayers for his family.
The Los Angeles County Police Department also confirmed that officers Saturday visited Carter’s home at 4200 LA Vista Drive in Lancaster, Calif. and found someone dead, but did not name the singer.
