A BBC radio presenter has reportedly died after suffering serious side effects from the Covid-19 vaccine.
According to BBC News, the family of BBC Newcastle’s Lisa Shaw, 44, have said that the presenter died after falling ill last week.
It is reported that Shaw suffered from headaches after getting the AstraZeneca vaccine, before she developed serious side effects.
Shaw’s family say she was treated in Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary’s intensive unit for blood clots and bleeding in her head.
However despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Shaw sadly passed away on Friday afternoon surrounded by family and friends.
