Frankly in a bizarre address to the nation, Joe Biden ended up talking about his son’s battle with cancer in comparison to the families who lost 12 US soldiers today in Kabul.
At least 12 other US soldiers have been severely injured.
At least 60 Afghans have been killed in a suicide bomb in Kabul Airport.
He said that the US would track down those who committed the bomb in the name of liberty.
Biden then appeared to almost cry and held a moment of silence. Strikingly, Biden said that he’s going to continue the mission to pull troops out of Afghanistan, even as the world’s media turns on the 46th President.
