The Green Party leader Eamon Ryan has confirmed that he has tested positive for covid-19.
Ryan, who is double vaccinated against covid, was due to go to Scotland tomorrow to the COP26 summit.
However, Ryan is going nowhere past his bedroom after he confirmed that he’s self-isolating after taking a PCR test prior to going to the event.
It’s understood that both Leo Varadkar and Micheal Martin both took antigen tests after Ryan’s positive test, but both have tested negative for covid.
