The teacher Enoch Burke, who says he’ll never call a boy a girl, returned to his school today in Westmeath.
It’s the second day in a row that Enoch Burke went to his school despite a court order telling him to stay away.
He said that he went to school “to teach”, to do the job he was hired to do – teach Irish children, but ended up standing in the corridor outside the classroom.
The controversy started when a student wanted to be referred to as “they”, something that ended up as a row that escalated to Enoch Burke spending 108 days in prison.
