Gardai and emergency services, including airport police rushed to an incident outside Terminal 1 where a stabbing incident took place.
It’s understood that an Irish man, aged in his 50s, received apparent stab injuries during an incident that gardai have described as a public order incident.
The injuries of the Irish man are not believed to be life-threatening but the man has been rushed to Beaumont Hospital for treatment.
It’s understood that a foreign national, aged in his 40s, was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained for questioning and investigations into the matter are ongoing.
