A 13-yr-old boy has sadly died after the tractor he was driving crashed in Co Mayo.
Gardaí responded to the crash at Scarduane outside Claremorris, at 8.15pm on Saturday night.
The boy was treated at the scene for serious injuries and was brought to Galway University Hospital but was later transferred to Temple Street Hospital where he died from his injuries this morning, it’s been confirmed.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact Claremorris Garda Station on 094 937 2080, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 66-61-11 or any garda station.
