Itās understood that one man in his early 20s and three women in their teens have been confirmed dead after the crash that happened on Mountain Road in the town around 7:30pm
Itās understood the car lost control going down the road and overturned. The road remains closed with local versions in place for a forensic examination that will take place on Saturday. Itās understood that the women had received their leaving cert results and that they were on their way to a party to celebrate. GardaĆ are appealing for witnesses to contact them a Clonmel Garda station with dash cam footage.
