Some good people of Kerry had feared the likes of this would happen in their beautiful, romantic, quaint tourist town, but many believe that their genuine and legitimate concerns fell on deaf ears locally and nationally.
News emerged last night from Hotel Killarney in Co Kerry that four people were stabbed in a migrant centre.
Gardai raced to the scene where two people were arrested and four  people were treated for stab wounds, which are said to not be life threatening.
Two men in their 30s were arrested while four men in their 20s were rushed to hospital to be treated for stab injuries.
Gardai have cordoned off the area in the migrant hotel where the incident took place, remain at the scene this morning and will carry out a full detailed technical examination into what exactly happened at the makeshift migrant centre.
Locals on social media say there was a lot of screaming and commotion within staff unable to stop the incident and immediately calling Gardai to race to the migrant hotel and stop any further escalation.
