East wall protestors made their way across the Liffey today to “equal the score” and demand that the government plant economic migrants in the affluent suburb of Ballsbridge and other such areas.
Speaker, Malachy Steenson said that there were empty hotels and businesses in the area and the people of Ballsbridge deserve equal treatment of those in East Wall and that the government should plant migrants in buildings in that area too.
Major protests are planned in the coming weeks, including one on February 6th, the new bank holiday.
