Two men have been arrested after one of them slapped French President Emmanuel Macron hard in the face as he was meeting people on an official visit to the south east of the country.
The below video shows a man in a green t-shirt hitting Macron hard in the face before security personnel drag him to the ground.
The man can be heard shouting “down with Macron-ism” before he slapped Macron. Locals say that the man was very disgruntled with the way Marcon is running the country. Watch the footage below:
