The Taoiseach Micheal Martin must be absolutely raging this morning after he tested positive positive for covid and can no longer meet his “hero” Joe Biden in the White House the the traditional St Patrick’s Day PR nonsense of being handed a shamrock.
Martin tested positive after one of his delegates tested positive earlier on Wednesday afternoon.
He’ll now miss out, for a second successive year, on meeting a President in the White House.
It’s understood that they’re looking into some sort of farcical virtual event, but Martin, who is self isolating is said to be extremely annoyed at what’s happened.
