?BREAKING: Migrants from 20 countries EXCLUDING Ukraine will now need a visa to enter Ireland




People who have been granted refugee status from a specific list of countries traveling to Ireland must now apply for a visa.

Cabinet ministers met today without to temporarily suspend Ireland’s participation in the Council of Europe deal for 12 months.

Refugees who have been granted refugee status by Contracting States do not need a visa to travel to other Contracting States for three months.

However, the ministers today decided to suspend this initiative due to pressure on the international protection system.

Ukrainians can still travel to Ireland without a visa.

Refugees who have a conventional travel document in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, in Poland, Portugal, Romania, the Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden o Switzerland must now apply for a visa to travel to Ireland.

It goes into full effect tomorrow at noon.
