The New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has resigned with effect of 14 days over horrific sexual allegations that have been thrown his way over the past number of months.
“I do hug and kiss people casually, women and men. I have done it all my life. It’s who I’ve been since I can remember. In my mind, I’ve never crossed the line with anyone.”
“I didn’t realise the extent to which the line had been drawn.”
Cuomo’s disgusting actions came after calls from Catholics across the world for New York’s Cardinal Dolan to kick Andrew Cuomo out of the Catholic Church.
Cuomo signed into law extreme abortion laws that even some pro choice activists say are too extreme. The new law will permit abortion right up to full term birth.
The Governor has declared that he is a proud Catholic, but many say that like his father before him, Cuomo is talking out of both sides of his face.
Cuomo signed in the most extreme abortion law New York State has ever seen.
There’s been a slew of calls for New York’s most senior Cleric, Cardinal Dolan to excommunicate Cuomo from the Catholic Church.
Dolan has led a letter stating his and the Church’s dismay at the new draconian law but as of yet, Dolan has failed to act on actually officially excommunicating Dolan.
Either way, he’s a footnote in history today as he’s gone with his brother, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo left red-faced and off-air more than likely for some time to come.
