NPHET will meet tomorrow to discuss whether the latest restrictions imposed on the Irish public are enough to stem the tide in Ireland’s so-called “fight against covid”, as NPHET put it.
The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan will meet alongside the Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn and their team to decide whether or not they need to recommend more restrictions be imposed.
Holohan’s demands to wear masks, socially distance yourself and use hand sanitizer seem to not be enough for him and it looks likely that he’ll impose stricter restrictions over the coming weeks.
