Arguably one of the best tennis players of all time – the Swiss maestro, Roger Federer has announced that he’s retiring from tennis.
He’ll play one last tournament next week at the Rod Laver Cup and then he’ll call it a day.
His last chance to a win a Grand Slam came with defeat against Novak Djokovic – one of his rivals, in the 2019 Wimbledon final.
Federer will go down as one of the greats of the game, but fans wanted him to play one or two last Grand Slams, possibly at next year’s Wimbledon but that’s not to be.
