Met Eireann has issued two urgent red warnings due to potential danger to life conditions this morning as Storm Debi heads straight for Ireland.
The entirety of counties Clare, Offaly, and Westmeath, plus areas around east Galway, and south Roscommon will be under red warning until at least 8am.
A Status Orange warning is also in effect for many other areas. Please are advised to be extremely careful on the roads and if they must walk.
The national weather forecaster says that the storm will sweep through the country and be over by the middle of the afternoon.
People are advised to share this information with their friends who’ll be on the roads today.
