The Department of Health has announced a further 1358 new cases of covid have been detected over the past 24 hours.
They have confirmed that a total of 400 people are in hospital across the country with 75 people in ICU.
The number of cases continue to hover well over 1250 a day but the numbers are thankfully dropping fast with normality hopefully on the horizon.
