A 29-yr-old man from Drogheda has been charged with dangerous driving after a car was driven into a group of people in Skerries over the weekend.
Sean McGlone appeared in Balbriggan District Court this morning.

Garda Ultan McElroy told the court that he arrested McGlone at his home in Drogheda around 6pm on Sunday on suspicion of endangering the public by driving. He was then brought to Balbriggan Garda Station and formally charged with dangerous driving at 10:20pm. McGlone made no reply when cautioned.
His defence barrister, Pearse Collins, applied for bail, which gardaí did not oppose provided strict conditions were attached. Judge Stephanie Coggins granted bail on his own recognisance of €5,000, with €1,000 to be paid today.
The conditions include signing on at a garda station three times a week, staying away from both Balbriggan and Skerries, having no contact with any witnesses or potential witnesses, remaining of good behaviour, and not consuming alcohol.
The incident occurred shortly before 10pm on Saturday night when gardaí were called to reports of a disturbance on Harbour Road in Skerries.
