Update: A woman aged in his 30s has been arrested by gardai. It’s understood she was close to the car where the boy was found and that she was well known to the child.
Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a young boy’s body inside a vehicle in Co. Waterford.
The body, believed to be that of a 6-yr-old male, was found in the Dunmore East area on Thursday evening.
A woman has been arrested in connection with this incident.
It’s understood the woman was familiar with the child but Gardai are not releasing any further information at this time.
