Are we finally beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel? Well, just maybe!
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has announced this afternoon that the majority of cases that are that of the new Omnicron variant are what they’re describing to be as “mild”.
This would indicate that people with Omnicron are not being hospitalised, have flu-like symptoms and would hopefully not have any life-threatening dangers attached to their case.
This is all developing news so the WHO will have to divulge more information as they get it, but things are slightly looking up.
