According to reports in the entertainment world this week British actor and the current James Bond Daniel Craig, has apparently signed on to play 007 for a further two films.

Craig who caused controversy back in 2015 after admitting in a TV interview that he would rather ‘slash his wrists’ than play the iconic British spy agent again, has apparently agreed to continue on in the role after successful talks with producers and studio bosses in the past few weeks.

The actor who took on the role back in 2006 starting in Casino Royale, following Pierce Brosnon’s departure will now take his tally to six films putting himself one behind Bond stalwarts Sean Connery and Roger Moore who have a total of seven films each.

Craig who will appear in the next currently untitled bond 25 film which is expected to released in 2019 will now be tied down to the series until at least 2021.

The latest announcement will now surely dispell any discussions regarding his replacement in the near future after previous rumours linked a whole host of stars to the role including Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddlestone and Michael Fassbender.
