Disrespectful and despicable: Pro-choice supporters drape ‘Repeal’ jumper over the altar of a Catholic Church in Dublin

There was consternation online over the bank holiday weekend when an image surfaced of a ‘Repeal’ jumper draped over the altar at the Mary Immaculate Oblate Fathers Catholic Church in Inchicore, West Dublin.

The altar and sanctuary are modeled on the Shrine of Our Lady Of Lourdes, the most famous Marian Shrine in the world.

The jumper is believed to have been left by a pro-choice supporter and it has received the backing of the Repeal Project who are campaigning for the removal of the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution, a move which would eventually lead to abortion on demand.

The image, which was originally posted on Instagram by JJ55555, has been widely and wildly spread on social media over the past 24 hours with immense support from pro-choice supporters.

It was pointed out by various social media users that pro-choice supporters weren’t so quick to attack a mosque or a synagogue in Dublin with their “campaign of tolerance”.
Ironically, abortion supporters are the first to insist on tolerance and respect for their point of view but this latest outrage has left many people wondering what’s next from abortion campaigners and their followers.
