It’s hard to believe but this week marks the 10th anniversary of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance. The little girl went missing on Saturday May 3rd 2007 from the apartment the family had taken for a holiday in the Algarve.
What followed was worldwide attention focused solely on recovering the child after she went missing while her parents were at dinner and her twin siblings slept in the next room.
British and Portuguese police spent years trying to find answers to what exactly happened and how on earth the child could just vanish with no witnesses, no sightings and no outcome.
To mark Madeleine’s 10th anniversary missing, her parents Gerry and Kate said prayers in a church last evening.
