1,400 vehicles destroyed as car park is engulfed by flames in Liverpool

A total of 1,400 vehicles were destroyed after a blaze ripped through a multi-storey car park next to Liverpool Echo Arena.

It is believed the fire started accidentally inside a vehicle in the third level of the car park The flames soon spread to adjacent vehicles.

All cars inside the car park were completely destroyed.
