A teenager has died in the UK after he was allegedly attacked by a homeless man in Manchester.
According to the Metro, 15-year-old Jakub Szymanski was allegedly killed by Suleman Altaf, 44 in an assault that detectives described as “ferocious”.
Altaf, who had no fixed addressed, is said to have also injured the boy’s mother in the attack and she was treated for serious stab wounds but is said to be in a stable condition.
Jakub’s family have paid tribute to him, describing him as a “mischievous, funny and a cheeky boy”.
Altaf has been remanded in custody pending a court appearance.
