Police in the UK have launched a major investigation and manhunt following a 15-yr-old girl raped after leaving her friends near a park. The girl was attacked after leaving a car park at the Civic Centre in Poole, Dorset. She alerted police after her attacker escaped from the scene and detectives asked witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
The man was described as white in his late teens and early twenties and is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, clean-shaven with short brown hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a red jumper. He reportedly approached the girl between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
According to the Metro, Detective Inspector Andrew Kennard of Dorset Police said: ‘This incident has clearly affected the young victim and we are supporting her as we carry out our inquiries. ‘We are conducting a thorough investigation into what happened and I am hoping the public can help us with information. ‘I am appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information about the man involved to please come forward urgently. DI Kennard added: ‘Local officers can be approached, should anyone have specific concerns.
Police say the search remains ongoing and for people to be vigilant in the area.
