Good news for jobseekers today, as transportation network Uber has announced it intends to set up a customer services centre in Limerick city, with the creation of 150 jobs by the end of this year, and 300 by the time it’s fully operational.
The company started off in San Francisco in 2009 and has now reached a global presence in 300 cities.
The majority of the jobs will be customer support roles, with some managerial and administrative positions.
