The girl was apprehended by police in the Woodvale area.
She was questioned on suspicion of riotous acts after unrest was reported in her local area.
Police have stated that multiple petrol bombs were thrown at them at about 12:50 am
but thankfully “none made contact” with officers.
It has also been reported by a spokesperson that “a young male was taken home and cautioned
when he was discovered with a pocket full of bottles”
Two police officers were injured by bottles thrown at 1:30 am on Wednesday morning.
Masonry was also thrown.
The police remained in the Woodvale area until order had been restored and remain on alert for any other incidents.
