A 16-yr-old boy who allegedly tried to kill a woman is said to have access to porn from a young age, according to a psychiatrist involved in the case against him.
According to the Irish Mirror, he is also said to have had significant access to the ‘dark web’ on the internet, which includes violent and disturbing content which can be seen on a computer but cannot be easily traced. It is reported that the boy realised that this was “messed up”.
The boy cannot be named for legal reasons but is said to have met the woman on a dating site and tried to kill her on the first occasion he met her, trying to choke her unconscious and then cutting her neck with a knife. It is also alleged that he had a copybook with pictures of a person being cut with a knife and the word “serial killer” written in the copybook.
It is reported that he also tried to kill a squirrel and had been dealing with severely negative thoughts at the time of the attack.
