As restrictions lift all over the country Galway have announced that they will reinstate their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations this year.

According to RTE, a full programme of events is planned for the day and this will include their traditional parade which has had to be cancelled during the pandemic and hasn’t take place since 2019.

This year’s St. Patrick’s Day is expected to be a joyous event throughout the country, all the more so because the government have added an extra bank holiday on March 18th.
