A 2 year boy has sadly died following an accident in Co. Galway last night.
It is understood that a car was involved in the incident which happened in Oranmore.
The boy was taken to University Hospital Galway where he was tragically pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardai are believed to be treating the toddlers death as a tragic accident and say investigations are ongoing.
