A family holiday turned into a nightmare for one family when their son fell out of a window in the villa where they were staying.
The 2-yr-old, who has not been named, fell 18 feet from the villa in Tuscany, incurring serious injuries. While it is not clear yet how the child fell, it is thought that he leaned over a window in his sister’s room and fell to the terrace below.
His sister, who is five years old, alerted her parents who immediately called emergency services. A helicopter was then sent to the villa so that the little boy could be transported to hospital as soon as possible.
While his current condition is not fully known, it is thought that he has slightly improved since the shocking incident.
