A 22 month old toddler has sadly died in Co Donegal after he was knocked down by a van.
It is understood the little boy was injured when he was struck by the vehicle which wad driving into the driveway of his house in Creeveglebe in Letterkenny at around a 6.45pm yesterday evening.
The boy was rushed to Letterkenny General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. A post mortem will been carried out on the child’s body today. Gardaí have said they are treating the incident as a tragic accident.
